Baker’s Bash & The Neighborhood Yard Sale Fundraisers
Like Toast to Fort Tryon, Baker’s Bash & The Neighborhood Yard Sale began in 2006. Over the years, thousands of pancakes have been served on the Linden Terrace to more than 1400 munchers of all ages and hoards of bargain hunters have shopped till they dropped at the Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale on the Stan Michels Promenade. This family event has become an annual tradition. As one happy parent volunteered: “This was our first year attending, and it exceeded our expectations; it really was fantastic, a great Sunday community event. It was lovely seeing neighbors and my kids just loved the yoga, magician, and music. My son hasn't stopped singing the jazzy fairytales. Thanks for helping to make Washington Heights a great community to raise a family and enjoy the city.”
Funds raised at Baker’s Bash & The Neighborhood Yard Sale underwrite on-going tree care and free public programs.

A Toast to Fort Tryon Wine Tasting
Each year since Toast To Fort Tryon Park began in 2006, more than 250 friends and neighbors have mingled on the Linden Terrace, tasting fine wines supplied by Cabrini Wines. Local jazz groups, such as Annette Aguilar and Stringbeans and Brazil Bossa, have romanced guests as the sunset cast a golden glow on the lindens, the river and beyond. The special ambiance of Linden Terrace combined with fine wines, good friends, and mellow music guarantee that this is a “Don’t Miss” event.
